18-12-2012 - Ginger Wildheart News
Well the gig last night was totally awesome, as always Ginger managed to put on in my opinion the best show i've been to this year.
Here are a few photos as a teaser the rest should be online in the next couple of days unfortunately this cant be helped as I have had to work on the photos in and out of trying to rest today due to the last train home last night leaving early :( which meant I had to stay on the mean streets of Guildford until 5am, however it was still a very worthwhile trip And a valuable lesson learned and I'm sure to drive to next years show.

15-12-2012 - More Wildhearts News Just In
I am proud to announce that I will be Photographing for Ginger's Birthday Bash, Featuring The Wildhearts one night only reunion on Monday 17th December , Stay tuned on the website as the photos will be due to be released upon my return from London.
The sold out show features Ginger Wildhearts solo band playing support to The Wildhearts who will play their first gig in 3 years, Sadly Scott Sorry has now retired to concentrate on his family commitments for which I wish him all the best, no need to despair as the newly appointed bassist Random Jon Poole will be stepping into the boots so that the band can reform... so lets hope with this news that there will be more to come from the band in the following year

Classic Rock Awards - Ginger 555% Update
555% Entered Into The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour
WWW.M4TOGRAPHY.CO.UK Features In The Award Winning Album
Following on from my previous scribblings about Ginger's 555% Pledge and his nomination into Classic Rock Magazines Roll Of Honour, Last night the awards ceremony was held and the Classic Rock award for Event Of The Year 2012 was given to Ginger Wildheart and Gav for the Pledge Campaign, Below you can see what I had previously written about the nomination. you can also Find out more about the pledge campaign here
Earlier on this year Ginger Wildheart opened a remarkable pledge to raise money to make a new album, deemed to be the album of the fans the title was unknown as was the content, the fans had nothing to go by apart from a small video from Ginger and Gav asking for pledges and directing you to the Pledge Music website, not knowing how this idea would take off Ginger had set the target and given 60 days to reach it otherwise the whole album would stay as a concept and the money would never be taken from the pledger's accounts.
However the security of the money back guarantee was not necessary as 100% of the target funds were achieved no more than 6 hours into the 60 Day pledge, and at the end of the 60 days the pledge was up to a whopping never before seen 555% with this the name of the album was created. this is the first time pledge music has been used to create such an impact and shows the sheer fan-base that are out there and willing to back their preferred artists.
There were different tiers of pledge where the fans could purchase the album before it was made and really become a part of the action, starting at a mere £10 for a digital download of the 3 discs and a copious amount of updates including video footage of the band in the writing and recording processes, so you the fan can see where your money is going and watch the album evolve, this was very much two sided as the fans could comment and say what they liked about the direction of the songs, the band also let the fans decide what songs went on to the commercial release of the 10 track album called 100%
The 555% pledge only album and the commercial release 100% was recorded with the help of and features fellow recording artists Random Jon Poole, Rich Battersby, Willie Dowling, Chris Catalyist, Denzel and new member of the crew Victoria Liketde, The campaign has also been nominated by Classic Rock as their event of 2012.
There are many reasons why this campaign means a lot to me, As many of you may know by now I have been a lifelong fan of The Wildhearts and I am founder of The Ginger And The Wildhearts UK Street Team, and also as I truly believe that in my eyes this brings a whole new lease of life to the music industry and new hope for us all, The independent artist has evolved and shone through the light of the corporate bull that says we have to have a child with a haircut and auto-tune selling music because the girls at school like the way he looks rather than his music. The X-factor generation we are not !
I am proud to say that WWW.M4TOGRAPHY.CO.UK is the only website that features in the booklet for the vinyl and CD Triple disc release of the album and can be seen in the photo above.

Goodwood Revival 2012 - Photo Diary Sunday 16th September 2012
Goodwood Revival's Unique Style
Goodwood Revival hosts the worlds largest and most expensive collection of motor vehicles from the 1900's up until the 1970's but its not only the cars that are a sight to behold as this event also attracts its own unique style from the surrounding eras. Nowhere else would you be able to see such a fitting tribute to the times gone by, there are people dressed in uniforms from world war two, along with policemen or "bobbys" as they were known, news sellers in period wear, also car showrooms set out as they would have been with 70's style dancing girls trying to attract the attention of potential buyers. there were a lot of mods and rockers and not to mention the pit crews all wearing overalls to fit the age of the vehicles they were working on.
Here are a few of my photos from the weekend so you can get the feel of how diverse this years sell out crowd was.

Notes From The Q+A Session With Sebastian Vettel + Christian Horner
30th June 2012 @ Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2012
Is there a single moment in your career that stands out and was it winning that first title?
Sebastian - Not one particular moment, I think generally people ask the question what was the best day of your life, I think the best day is hopefully still to come otherwise it will be still frustration being only 24-25 and having peaked, I hope when im 60 i wake up and i will still have the best day to come, but surely the first race win was something very very special. and theres a lot of days that you wont forget and a lot of special days, to say this day was better than that day is really not fair, I think winning is always special, winning the championship was very veey special for the first time in a different way special for the second time so yeah hopefully theres more to come.
Christian noted that ! Sebastian won in 2009, and you know that was a great moment for the team and very special moment in front of all the crowd and all off the members of the team, then Mark Webber backed that up the following year, so weve had a good run at silverstone the last few years and would be great to get on the top circular of the roster again this year.
Earlier on in the day he raced on a Red Bull Grindsters game and he was asked, what was it like being behind a virtual wheel?
Sebastian - I felt under pressure, so many people usually ive got the helmet on and noone can see us, with more practice maybe I would of beat him
How did you start karting?
Sebastian - I was just a young kid, 3.5-4 years when I took my first couple of laps in a go kart in the back yard just driving up and down, because it was too narrow to turn around, we had to put some water down so i could drift the car, started racing at 7-8 years old, many times I get asked when did you start your career, you know until I was in formula one I never really thought I had a career, I loved what i was doing as we were just kids and we obviously took it very seriously on the track and nobody wanted to loose but then once we finished karting we left our fathers with the gokarts to clean them, and we went to play with the toy cars and have a good time, there was never something like a plan to make it or to become a professional racing driver, surely when you get older obviously I was dreaming about formula one, following formula one and Michael was the big hero in Germany. So you know you imagine driving one of those cars was a bridge so far away
What would your advice be for people dreaming of becoming a racing driver?
Christian - I would say dont give up, youve gotta keep trying and believe in yourself and if you really want something and want it bad enough and prepared to comit yourself in the way that Sebastian has then anythings achievable like any sport.
Do you get nervous before a race?
Sebastian - yes, you wake up on race day and its different to other days, you know that the race is going to happen, obviously you have your routine and you have prepared etc, believe me when you are sat there on the grid and the start lifghts go on its a nice feeling but also its a love hate relationship, so you are really looking forward to the race but you know that this is the moment and this is where it counts, so you really feel the adrenaline hopefully not too nervous otherwise I would stall the car so far that has never happened.

Autotrader Moving Motorshow 2012 @ Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Preview Day - Thursday 28th June 2012
The crowds were out in force today for the Autotrader Moving Motorshow opening the festival of speed, the moving motorshow allows you to go for a test drive in many of the new models available from a vast majority of manufacturers, one of the highlights of today was finally seeing the full production model of the Toyota GT86 from speaking to one of the hosts on the stand it will be open for orders from the 1st July and starts at around £24k I have been waiting to see this car for around 6 years now it seems to have changed significantly from the original 3.0V6 Hybrid version that was rumoured all that time ago, but a 2.0L and a major slash on price is still acceptable, Well at least its out now they can make a higher power version at a later date.
Another noteworthy car is the new range of Dacia's (James May would of been in heaven as I saw at least 4 whilst walking around)Starting at around £8k for a brand new car is just uncomprehending, as they actually look pretty good, they were giving away free hats and I was mildly surprised at the amount of Dacia hats I saw in the crowds whilst walking around
