Skid Row @ The Electric Ballroom - Camden November 2013Skid Row played to a sold out crowd Tuesday night in Camden Town London, Starting off with a song from the new album United World Rebellion - Chapter One, the song titled "Lets Go" was a welcome surprise, having not yet listened to the newest of the Skid Row offerings the song was catchy and an excellent choice of opener another new song "Kings Of Demolition" also featured in the set and begun with an announcement from frontman Johnny Solinger stating that the revolution has arrived and should the big 80's and 90's rock artists write new music they will succeed against the music of today, as London is always so thriving with the rock scene and the impact certain bands reunions from the era have had I don't doubt him one bit.
However the main bulk of the gig was infused with a mixture of hits from the earlier part of the bands long career including "Monkey Business" "Quicksand Jesus" "Big Guns" "18 And Life" Of course no Skid Row gig would be complete without the late 80's classic "Youth Gone Wild" from the bands iconic self titled first album, the band played right up until curfew and even added an extra song into the set.
