CarFest South 2014 - Friday - Music - Photo GalleryAs the first days on track action at Car Fest South draws to a close the live stage was about to start off the evenings entertainment with performances by The Ultimate Eagles, Toseland, The One Show, Chas And Dave, Noasis, Eliza Doolittle and Erasure
The Ultimate EaglesStarting the live stage slightly earlier than last year The Ultimate Eagles were the opening act, playing some of the more well known Eagles hits including "Hotel California" "Take It Easy" and "New Kid In Town" amongst many others.
ToselandNext on stage was former world superbike champion James Toseland with his band.
I must say that I was so blown away by the performance I have booked to catch them again on tour when they stop off in Portsmouth on the 21st September.
The One Show - Live RecordingThe stage was then taken over by a special live recording of The One Show presented by Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton.
Chas And DaveChas and Dave played out the end of The One Show before continuing their set of past hits.
NoasisNext up were Noasis, an Oasis cover band who played the part rather well, the singer even had that slightly arrogant look and swagger about him, they played many of the crowd pleaser's.
Eliza DoolittleEliza Doolittle scheduled as the penultimate artist played a cram packed set including the hit songs "Pack Up" "Mr Medicine" and "Skinny Genes" and was one of my favourite performances so far in the festival.
The next artist on stage was the first of many surprises over the weekend, he played a series of songs in his own unique style and has been getting a lot of Radio 2 airtime recently.
ErasureFriday night's final performance came from 1980's Electro-Pop legends Erasure and was a medley of classic songs along with some songs from new album The Violet Flame co written by founding members Andy Bell & Vince Clarke.
Some of the more notable renditions being "Sometimes" "I Love To Hate You" and "A Little Respect"
Friday evenings entertainment drew to a close but there was plenty more to look forward to over the rest of the weekend, more articles can be found on the Car Fest South Landing Page Here
